A beacon of Excellence in tourism & hospitality studies in Zambia
The Zambia Institute for Tourism & Hospitality Studies (ZITHS) is Zambia’s premier institution dedicated to quality education and training in tourism and hospitality. Established in 1964 as part of Evelyn Hone College, it gained autonomy in 1991 as the Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (HTTI), and was later renamed ZITHS in 2017 through an Act of Parliament (ZITHS Act No. 42 of 2016).
The institute operates the Fairview Hotel, a fully functional training hotel, offering students hands-on learning in a real hospitality environment.
